The Granary, once owned by John Constable's father, has been sympathetically restored and now houses a Rural Bygones Museum. Bed and Breakfast is offered in the very tastefully converted annex - once used as stabling for John Constable's horse, Nancy.

The accommodation is full of character with exposed Beams and leaded windows and opens out onto a beautiful garden bordered by the River Stour. All rooms are en suite with colour televisions and a dining area complete with kettle, toaster and fridge.

Breakfast is supplied the previous evening so that guests can enjoy complete flexibility and privacy. John Constable painted many world-renowned paintings at Flatford including the Haywain and The Boat Builder.
